Dr. DJ Himstedt, a highly experienced professional with training in organization development and psychology, has dedicated over a decade to assisting leaders in effectively leveraging their strengths and leadership potential to drive organizational outcomes. In her present role, she focuses on helping physician and medical leaders comprehend their influence and adopt new perspectives on achieving desired interpersonal and managerial results. Dr. Himstedt is currently leading coaching interventions for faculty in academic medical positions and conducting research supported by an NIH grant to gain a deeper understanding of the effects of coaching and leadership development. Moreover, she has successfully designed and implemented a groundbreaking leadership academy that bridges the gap between administrative and physician leadership in academic medicine.
